Colac
P.S. is located on Murray Street East in the city of Colac. It was the
city’s first school however the original building was destroyed by fire
in 1964. Our school buildings have been extensively refurbished
during 2006.
We now have:
- 4 new classrooms and internal toilets for prep to 2 children;
- A new general office with access from Lyons Street;
- A refurbished art room, library and staff room;
- Refurbished larger classrooms for 3 to 6 students with withdrawal areas and staff offices;
- New toilets for year 3-6 students;
- A new 2 room portable classroom;
- New basketball court and staff carpark.
The school has a large Activity Centre and canteen, which facilitate many activities.
Our school grounds and play areas are being re-developed to complement
the new buildings. New higher fencing is being installed and two
playgrounds will soon be built.
