Government Assistance for Education
Families who hold a Commonwealth Health Care Card at the beginning of Term 1 and/or Term 3 are eligible to apply for an Educational Maintenance Allowance for each child at school.
Advice will be given through the “Weekly Newsletter” when an application may be made.
Half of the allowance is paid directly to the school to meet the cost
of books, which are provided for your child.
Your cheque for the other half of the allowance will be posted to the
school. You may like to use this money to meet the cost of uniform,
swimming or excursions.
