Reporting to Parents on Their Children’s Progress
| Term 1 |
Parents are invited to make an appointment to meet with the teacher if required, to discuss their child’s strengths and weaknesses and other aspects of schooling. |
| Term 2 |
Written reports will be sent home with the children towards the end of term. Written Report. Follow up interviews will be scheduled during the last week of term which is a student free day. Parents are encouraged to take this opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher. |
| Term 4 |
During the second last week of the year, written reports will be sent home. Discussions with parents may be arranged at the request of the classroom teacher or parent. |
It is also expected that some of the following could occur from time to time during the year:-
- conferences sought by parents or teachers
- telephone enquires
- home visits
- incidental conferences/discussions
